For over 50 years, our family-run business has always adopted a can-do attitude with our customers, our people and our partners. Yet, the dramatic spread of COVID-19 is testing the independent business community - amongst all other organisations - like never before.
Forced to face unrivalled challenges; our focus and highest priority is the health, well-being, and protection of our employees, our customers, and our families.
How does an independent company like E.Tupling respond to the disruption, uncertainty, and exposure that this life-threatening virus brings?
The decision for E.Tupling to temporarily stop the distribution of products afforded no middle ground - we assessed that no one would tell us when the time was right to make the decision, yet a conclusion had to be reached and responsibility needed to be understood. To continue operating a busy distribution warehouse, it would have required our delivery team to actively engage with several merchant customers, which would show complete disregard for all that is being asked of society - to social-distance.
Despite our deliveries currently suspended, we have measures in place to retain all our employees. We hope our customers respect our position and we can assure our suppliers that will not lose sight of our responsibilities to them.
How do we lead our business through COVID-19 and beyond?
It's unknown how this will develop, but for now, our position is clear and we stand by our key values. We are planning for our return and focus on the priorities that the situation presents. We look forward to fulfilling our merchant partners' supply requirements with our reliable, professional and personal service as soon as it is safe for us to do so.
We’re right here, when you need us.
We pride ourselves all year round on delivering excellent customer service, and we remain dedicated to being there, right when our customers, suppliers, and associations need us the most. We’re always open to conversations, sharing knowledge and answering any questions, so reach out to us - we’ll be there. Stay safe, everyone.
